The problem

Flashcards improve active retrieval and memorisation, but they do not automatically create deep understanding.

You can memorise a definition without knowing how to apply it. Memory improves while the skill remains fragile.

Using them well

A flashcard should come after initial understanding. It stabilises important information; it does not replace learning.

The SupraLearning system

Goal → roadmap → understanding → active recall → flashcards → application → assessment. FlashLearning becomes the memory engine, not the whole method.
